Discover life impulses
Methods and concepts for the investigation of intrinsic life impulses
Abstract
The research retreat entitled „Discovering impulses of life – methods and concepts for research of intrinsic life impulses“ took place from May, 11th to 15th in 2016 at the Fraueninsel, Chiemsee, Germany. It was led by Prof. Thilo Hinterberger and his partners Sabine Poetsch and Helmut C. Kaiser. Further methodological and experiential contributions from many of the 27 participants created a rich and powerful space of experiences. The retreat intended on one hand to provide participants a special opportunity to familiarize and share a number of methods and elements of self-experience. On the other hand, a common form of research was practiced represented by sensing the potentiality of the presented processes as well as the evaluation and reflection of the processes with respect to possible improvements and the relationship to intrinsic impulses of life. In this article contents and properties of the experiential elements are reported.
