Abstract

Roberto Assagioli was one of the pioneers of transpersonal psychology and psychotherapy. Since 1910 he developed his psychosynthesis. The exploration and development of the will is essential to this. Assagioli introduces four aspects of will that need to be developed in order to grow to a complete will. The ethical function of the will, the good will, is especially significant for our humanity. For its development it needs insight and strength of heart.
